Her i den vestlige verden er vi vilde for at opnå lykken – dog tænker jeg ikke at vi er særlig gode til det. Hvis man sammenligner for eksempel mit liv med et liv i den tredje verden, er mit liv stort set perfekt. Der er sådan set ingen alvorlige problemer, der kan måle sig med noget fra den tredje verden. De problemer, jeg har, kan stort set ses som luksus-problemer i forhold til deres. Jeg er på efterskole, har mange venner, familie, kæreste, er på udflugter med fritidsordningen og så videre. Når jeg tænker over det, kan jeg til tider blive forarget over mig selv, at jeg kan græde over ’så små’ problemer. Hvis jeg prøvede at leve en måned ved en fattig familie i Afrika, ville jeg klart sætte pris på mit liv, som det er.

Here in the Western world, we are wild to achieve your luck – however, I do not mean that we are particularly good at it. If you compare, for example, my life with a life in the third world, is my life pretty much perfect. There is no serious problems, which can measure up to something from the third world. The problems I have, can pretty much be seen as luxury problems compared to theirs. I'm at after school, has many friends, family, boyfriend, on trips with leisure scheme and so on. When I think about it, I can at times be indignant about myself that I can cry over ' so small ' problems. If I tried to live a month by a poor family in Africa, I'd obviously appreciate my life as it is.

The problems I have, largely seen as luxury problems compared to theirs. I'm at boarding school, has many friends, family, girlfriend, is on tour with the care facility and so on. When I think about it, I can sometimes be disgusted with myself that I can cry over 'so small' problems. If I tried to live a month at a poor family in Africa, I would clearly appreciate my life as it is.
