Der ud over er det også vigtigt at vide noget om hvor hårdt de arbejdede og hvilke psykiske lidelser det kan medfører. Som der er beskrevet i hoveddelen så, var fangerne meget under ernæret og det har en følevirkning, det er den sygdom man kalder sultsygdommen, som jeg er gået mere i dybden med i opgaven.

Sygdommene som de fleste fik under den svære tid, kan behandles med det tog tid. De vil altid havde de forfærdelige minder om den tid.
